On letting things unfold without needing all the answers
There are moments where everything feels uncertain at once.
Not just one thing- but multiple things, all sitting in that same unclear space. Decisions that haven’t fully landed yet. Situations that don’t feel resolved. Outcomes that are still unknown.
It can feel like too much is up in the air.
Like you’re trying to hold everything together without fully knowing how it’s going to turn out.
And when you’re in that space, it’s natural to want control.
To want answers.
To want things to make sense as quickly as possible.
You start trying to figure everything out at once. You overthink. You replay. You try to predict what might happen next so you can prepare for it.
Because uncertainty feels uncomfortable.
But the more you try to control everything, the heavier it can start to feel.
Because not everything is meant to be solved immediately.
Not everything is meant to be clear right away.
Some things take time.
Some things need space.
Some things unfold in ways you can’t fully understand until you’re already through them.
That’s the part we struggle with.
Letting things be incomplete for a while.
Sitting in the unknown without rushing to fill the gap.
Because when things feel uncertain, it’s easy to assume the worst.
To think that if something isn’t working yet, it won’t work at all. To believe that if you can’t see the outcome clearly, it must not be heading in the right direction.
But that’s not always true.
Sometimes, things are just… in progress.
They’re still forming.
Still shifting.
Still finding their place.
At Heavy Days, we understand how difficult that can feel.
Because being in the middle of something without clear answers can make you question everything. It can make you doubt your decisions, your timing, even yourself.
But being in that space doesn’t mean something is wrong.
It often means something is still unfolding.
And that’s where trust comes in.
Not the kind of trust that requires certainty.
But a quieter version.
The kind that says:
I don’t have all the answers right now- but I’m going to keep going anyway.
You don’t need to solve everything today.
You don’t need to have complete clarity.
You don’t need to control every outcome.
Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is step back slightly.
Take a breath.
And allow things to move without forcing them.
Not giving up.
Not disengaging.
But loosening your grip just enough to let things develop in their own time.
Because when you look back, you’ll often realise that things did come together.
Not instantly.
Not always how you expected.
But in a way that made sense once you were there.
So if today feels uncertain, if things feel like they’re still up in the air, if you’re struggling with not having all the answers…
Try something different.
Instead of assuming the worst…
Instead of trying to force clarity…
Watch this work out.
Not because everything is guaranteed.
But because things are still moving- even if you can’t fully see it yet.
Heavy Days reminder:
You don’t need to have everything figured out to trust the process.
Some things just need time.
“This is heavy. But I’m still here.”
And sometimes, that’s all you need while things fall into place.
